You can't sit inside, you just order and pay - and then go outside to the Boardwalk where there are several tables to sit and watch people and boats go by on the Boardwalk.
If you're on the dining plan, you can get a variety of snacks here as well as use your quick service meals to get a sandwich, drink and dessert.
Menu items include fruit salads, ham and roast beef sandwiches, chocolate cake, cheesecake, carrot cake, a variety of muffins, danishes, cupcakes, cookies and brownies.
The Good:
The food is generally pretty good as most of it is made in the bakery right there so it's fresh.
While you can get several of the same pastries and desserts elsewhere in the Disney World resorts, the variety is still impressive. Plus it's a welcome little retreat when you're on the boardwalk and want a quick snack.
The Bad:
As stated above, you have to go outside to sit (which can be extremely hot).
Also cashiers can have conflicting ideas about what constitutes a quick service meal and what you can get for a snack.
(We had one person tell us you couldn't get a slice of cake for your dessert in a quick service meal and another one tell us that you can include a slice of cake for the dessert). Which leads to the ugly:
The Ugly:
The servers at this bakery are rude. Every single time we went. Every year we went.
I'm not sure who does the hiring for this place - but the customer service is the worst I've seen in Disney World - bar none.
It's almost like the servers don't want to be there. So if you want a quick snack and really have nowhere else to go, suck it up, smile and enjoy it strictly for the food itself. The carrot cake alone is worth the abuse.

The Boardwalk Bakery is found on the Boardwalk area of Disney World, next to the ESPN Club and the Boardwalk Inn. It's across the lake from the Yacht and Beach Club resorts.
It's a great little place for snacks, a sandwich or a quick breakfast.
This tiny little place serves a variety of drinks, coffee, milk, sandwiches, fruit, yogurt and pastries like muffins, cakes, danishes, etc.
