Cape May Cafe Disney World Review
Cape May Cafe Review:

Personal Review of the Cape May Cafe at Disney World
It serves a breakfast character buffet and a non-character seafood dinner buffet.

The breakfast  has a lot of standard breakfast fare including fruit, yogurt, eggs, omelets, waffles, bacon and sausage, muffins, cereals, donuts and more.

The dinner theme is a New England-style clambake. Popular dishes are clams, mussels, shrimp, barbeque ribs, chicken and prime rib.

There are several stations in one square in the middle of the restaurant including a salad station, a carving station and a seafood station. There's also a separate dessert station off to the side.

The atmosphere is open and airy however with a lot of kids for dinner, it can seem crowded and noisy.

Our server was average. He brought us our drinks quickly but seemed quite hurried and didn't really take any time to chat or check on our dinner satisfaction.

Food quality was good to average. For a buffet it wasn't bad. For a Disney World buffet at that price however, I would have expected slightly better. On the positive side however, they did have excellent ribs, great salads and decent desserts.

Other standout menu items were the apple crumble, mussels and roast beef.  Kids will probably like the mac and cheese and large cookies.

Overall, make sure you have a reservation since this restaurant can be quite crowded - probably because of the central location.

The Cape May Cafe is a buffet restaurant found in the Beach Club resort at Walt Disney World.

It's also a short walk away from the Yacht club, Boardwalk Inn, Swan and Dolphin resorts which makes it central for a lot of vacationers and quite crowded at mealtimes.
