Caribbean Beach is one of Disney's Moderate resorts. The theme is (obviously) one of a Caribbean tropical paradise with lush gardens, several pools and island themed buildings.
The 200 acre resort surrounds a 45 acre lake - Barefoot Bay. Caribbean Beach consists of the Custom House registration area and five brightly colored "villages" -- each named after a Caribbean island like Trinidad, Martinique, Barbados, Aruba, and Jamaica
Each village has its own pool, playground and beach area.
Guests can walk to the main gathering place at the resort: Old Port Royale which contains a giant swimming area with waterfall and slide. Old Port Royale also contains shops, restaurants and recreation activities.
